African Journeys was born from a deep love and respect for Africa's incredible wildlife, diverse cultures, and breathtaking landscapes. Since our founding in 2010, we've been dedicated to providing authentic, sustainable, and transformative safari experiences that connect travelers with the true essence of East Africa.
Founded by James and Sarah Mwangi, African Journeys began as a small operation with just two Land Cruisers and a handful of passionate local guides. James, a former wildlife biologist, and Sarah, a hospitality expert, combined their expertise to create safari experiences that were both scientifically informed and luxuriously comfortable.
What started as a dream to share their love for Africa with the world has grown into a renowned safari company serving thousands of satisfied travelers from over 60 countries. Despite our growth, we've remained true to our founding principles: exceptional service, conservation commitment, and authentic cultural experiences.
